Los Médicos Voladores
He is a past member of the Host Lions Club and past member of the Los Médicos Voladores, the flying doctors.
Los Medicos Voladores is a 100 percent volunteer-based, non-religious, nonprofit organization that aims to improve the health and well-being of geographically diverse peoples through education and the provision of no-cost, high-quality medical, dental and optometric clinics. LMV serves Mexico, Central and South America, and migrant labor populations of southeast California. There’s no greater joy than helping a child who’s having trouble in school because they can’t see, or an older person who has trouble doing close-up work. You can see the delight on the people’s faces when we give them a pair of glasses on the spot.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, playing tennis and fly fishing.
